Official Making Of Film: Coldplay’s feelslikeimfallinginlove music video in collaboration with Coro de Manos Blancas
Go behind the scenes for the making of the music video for Coldplay’s new single feelslikeimfallinginlove.
This new “making-of” video dives into the story behind how Deaf artists and the poetry of sign language were the basis for the project. Shot on location at Athens’ 2,000-year-old Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the music video was directed by Ben Mor and stars actress, writer and storyteller, Natasha Ofili who developed the video’s story and creative direction. Ofili choreographed the song in American Sign Language (ASL), with additional signs in Venezuelan Sign Language (LSV), which is woven throughout the video.
“Music, to me, is so emotional. As a Deaf person, I wanted to show the world how I see music and for Chris to give me this opportunity, it’s big, it’s history in the making. And this is a good step for people like me who can show that there’s no limit.” said Natasha Ofili.
The video also features the Deaf members of the Venezuelan Sign Language (LSV) section from El Sistema Venezuela's Coro de Manos Blancas (White Hands Choir) a world-renowned performing arts ensemble from Barquisimeto, supported in collaboration with the Dudamel Foundation.
feelslikeimfallinginlove is the first single from Coldplay’s tenth album, Moon Music.
